Telangana cybersecurity summit SHIELD 25 on Tuesday to discuss curbing AI exploitation by criminals
The two-day conclave also brings together leaders from technology, law enforcement and policy to tackle evolving cyber threats and enhance digital safety

Hyderabad: Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGSCB), Cyberabad police and the Society For Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) is organising a two-day conclave āSHIELD 25ā from Tuesday to discuss the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by criminals as a weapon of exploitation and the techniques that law enforcement organisations (LEA) will develop to combat it.
Rajesh Kumar, IPS, CEO, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C); Bhuwan Ribhu, founder, Just Rights for Children and Dr RS Sharma, independent director, senior IAS Officer, will be keynote speakers for the two-day conclave.

I4C was established by the Ministry of Homer Affairs to provide a framework and ecosystem for law enforcement agencies to deal with cybercrimes in a coordinated and comprehensive manner. Dr Sharma has been a pivotal force in shaping the countryās Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) policies.
Dr RS Sharma pioneered work on Aadhaar
Sharma is well-known for his role as the founding director general and mission director of UIDAI, where he spearheaded Aadhaar, the worldās largest biometric identity system.
Bhuwan Ribhu, a renowned legal expert and activist, who has shaped policies for child protection, anti-trafficking and womenās rights in India will speak at the conclave. His work has influenced landmark Supreme Court rulings and critical laws like POCSO and the Child Labour Amendment Act, according to a press release issued here on Monday.
Using AI in enforcing the law, protecting innocents
At SHIELD 2025, Ribhuās keynote address on āAI-Generated CSEAM and Innovation in Policingā will uncover how AI is being weaponised for exploitationāand the groundbreaking strategies to fight back.
Predictive policing, AI in the service of law enforcement etc and many more interesting topics will be dealt with in detail. It will have 40 speakers, 15 sessions, 10 panels and five workshops.
