Three CISF constables arrested in fake job racket at Vizag
The arrested constables were identified as B Manoj Kumar,35, M Venkata Ramana, 28, and B Hari Babu,33, all residents of Ukkunagaram and NAD areas in Vizag city.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 18 Nov 2020 3:25 AM GMTVisakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam police on Tuesday arrested three Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constables for extracting Rs 8.9 lakh from two unemployed youth on the pretext of providing jobs in the Ordinance Factory.
The arrested constables were identified as B Manoj Kumar,35, M Venkata Ramana, 28, and B Hari Babu,33, all residents of Ukkunagaram and NAD areas in Vizag city.
DCP (Law and Order) Aishwarya Rastogi said Manoj Kumar joined CISF as general duty constable in 2007 and is presently under suspension. While working in Delhi and Hyderabad, Manoj Kumar became acquainted with Hari Babu and MV Ramana.
The trio hatched a plan to cheat the innocent unemployed youth on the pretext of providing jobs in the government sector. When the complainant AT Nayak, a resident of Vizag and native of Telangana was preparing for the competitive examinations in Hyderabad, he got acquainted with Hari Babu. Later, Nayak's brother BT Nayak also met Hari Babu.
The trio made them believe that they have got 26 people adjusted in the central government. They assured AT Nayam and BT Nayak of providing jobs in the Central Ordnance Factory and collected Rs 8.9 lakh.
The trio also created a Whatsapp group with 28 members including their siblings. They went to Nagpur in January 2019 and stayed for three days. The trio also conducted a fake examination and handed over appointment letters. Based on the complaint from AT Nayak, the police investigated the case and nabbed the trio.
