Three dead, several injured in a road accident in Suryapet

Telangana: Three died and several persons were injured in a road accident that happened between Hyderabad-Vijayawada road 65 in Suryapet on Thursday evening.

The incident occurred at the Anjanapuri Colony crossing, when an auto carrying 15 passengers travelling from Suryapet to Arvapally collided a parked lorry, followed by a car hitting the auto.

The deceased include two elderly persons and a 17-month-old baby.

The police are recovering the bodies and are shifting the injured to a nearby hospital. Around 15 doctors are currently treating the injured. Critical injured are being shifted to NIMS hospital for better treatment. Four are said to be in critical condition.
