Sathwik accidentally fell from the railing grill next to the staircase from the first floor

Tirupati: A three-year-old boy died after he slipped through the grill of a staircase in a Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) pilgrim amenities complex at Padmanabha Nilayam on Wednesday.
Identified as Sathwik, he had come with his parents to Tirumala from Chinna Chowk in Kadapa. They availed locker facility at the PAC-5 amenities complex and were scheduled to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy on Thursday evening.
On Wednesday evening, when Sathwik was playing with his elder brother, Sathwik accidentally fell from the railing grill next to the staircase from the first floor and sustained severe head injuries. He died on the spot.
Sathwik's father Srinivasulu works as a driver at a private company while his mother is a daily wage laborer.
Tirupati police have registered a case.
