Hyderabad: The sleuths of Commissionerās Task Force, North Zone, apprehended a transgender person and a minor, impersonating a transgender person, for extorting money from shopkeepers and pedestrians at the Lothukunta traffic signal, in the limits of Trimulgherry police station.
The arrested have been identified as Swapna Kumari alias Sapna Garud (37), a resident of Suraram, Jeedimetla in Medchal Malkajigiri.
On the credible information, the police apprehended a transgender person and a minor in the limits of PS Trimulgherry for forcibly extorting money from shopkeepers, pedestrians, and nearby traffic signals. The police recovered cash and phones from them.
