Police have arrested television actor and anchor Shyamala’s husband Narsimha Reddy for sexually harassing and cheating a woman of Rs one crore.

Hyderabad: Police have arrested television actor and anchor Shyamala's husband Narsimha Reddy for sexually harassing and cheating a woman of Rs one crore.
Narsimha Reddy was booked by Raidurgam police station after a woman filed a written complaint against him.
The woman alleged that Narsimha Reddy had borrowed Rs one crore from him on different occasions since 2017. However, when she asked him to repay the money, Narsimha Reddy threatened her of dire consequences and even sexually harassed her.
Later another woman claiming to be Narsimha Reddy's friend approached the victim and tried to settle the matter. But the victim did not agree and approached the police.
She stated that at the instance of Narsimha Reddy, a woman intervened and tried to persuade her to withdraw the complaint.
Police have registered a case of cheating, threatening and, sexual harassment against Narsimha Reddy. Later Narsimha Reddy and his woman accomplice were arrested.
