Two held for late-night robbery of motorist in Balanagar; gold chain, phones recovered

Hyderabad: The Balanagar Police arrested two persons accused of committing robbery. Using CCTV footage and analysing over 50 cameras along the escape route and analysing CDRs, they found the two offenders who have allegedly stolen 2.630 tulas of gold chain and two mobile phones.
Case details
On December 5, after completing his work, the complainant from Balanagar was coming back from work late at night. In the meantime, the accused persons Shaik Sameer (22) and Mohammed Hussain (19) intercepted the complainant due to which he fell down from the bike. Immediately, Hussain stole the bike while Shaik Sameer pretended to assist him.
Hussain took the bike, fled and parked the bike near D-Mart, Balanagar. They went back to the complainant where they threatened him to hand over his mobile phones, cash and gold. When the complainant resisted, they physically assaulted him, beat him with their hands and forcefully robbed his gold chain and two mobile phones.
Modus operandi
Shaik Sameer is a native of Karnataka State. He used to work as a plumber. Mohammed Hussain is a resident of Golkonda and was working in a radium shop.
Due to their bad vices, they hatched a plan to commit robbery. As per their plan on December 5, they committed the robbery near Usha Company, Balanagar PS limits. The property they stole was recovered from them. A case has been registered.
