Two killed, 6 hurt as TGSRTC bus rams stationary truck in Jangaon

Hyderabad: Two passengers were killed and six others were injured when a Telangana RTC Rajdhani bus rammed into a stationary sand-laden truck on the Hyderabad–Warangal highway in Jangaon district early Sunday.
Bus crashes into parked truck
The collision occurred near Nidigonda in Raghunathpalli mandal. Police said the bus, travelling towards Hyderabad, hit the parked truck from behind with such force that the front portion of the vehicle was completely crushed.
The deceased have been identified as Navjit Singh of Balasumdra in Hanumakonda and P Om Prakash of Domalguda in Hyderabad. Six other passengers sustained injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Initial reports suggest the bus driver may have failed to notice the truck, which was halted on the roadside.
Case registered; probe underway
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine whether negligence, overspeeding or poor visibility led to the accident.
