Manneguda Sarpanch Vinod Goud arrested in bribe case

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau- Telangana arrested Vinod Goud, sarpanch of Manneguda Grampanchayath in a bribe case.
The ACB officials, on 5th March 2021, laid a trap at Maisammatemple Banglaguda and caught red-handed the sarpanch accepting Rs 13 lakh bribe. According to the probing agency, Vinod Goud demanded bribe from Mohd Sajid Bashra, a resident of Mallepally of Hyderabad, to allow construction activities of his shop.
"The complainant's employer had already approved permission from the concerned authority however the sarpanch demanded bribe to not interfere in the construction" ACB said. Vinod Goud was arrested and produced before the special court hearing ACB cases. He was sent under judicial remand. The bribe money was recovered from the spot. The ACB appeals to the general public to dial 1064 and complain against corruption officials.
