Visakhapatnam: Three students were injured after a plaster peeled off the ceiling and fell on them in the classroom at Archakunipalem Primary School in Visakhapatnam. The incident happened when the students were busy taking the class.
First-standard student T. Vedasri suffered minor head injuries. He has been shifted to Vizianagaram Government Hospital. Her condition is said to be stable. The other two students suffered minor bruises.
The school building where the accident happened was recently renovated. Parents blame the authorities for using poor-quality material. The classroom is meant for students from class I-3.
