Visakhapatnam: Rowdy sheeter ends life after sending video blaming police
In the video, the victim alleges that he was trapped in a cannabis case by vizag city police.

Visakhapatnam: A rowdy sheeter died by suicide at his residence at Vadapeta under Kancharapalem police station limits in Vizag city. He took his life after recording a video in which he blamed the police. In the video, the victim, 30-year-old T. Shyam alias Santhosh, alleges that he was trapped in a cannabis case and that none should suffer like him.
Though his family members alleged that Shyam had taken the extreme step due to police harassment, the police have refuted the allegations.
The police said Shyam was accused in a murder case a few years ago and in another attempt to murder case. He was addicted to ganja and liquor and he was arrested in a ganja case. Shyam was released from prison on bail a few days ago and received a phone call from an advocate in connection with a non-bailable warrant in a case that was registered in 2020. Shyam was supposed to appear before the court on Friday, but he ended his life.
The police said they did not find any suicide note at the spot and are examining the video.
