Vizag boy who failed SSC exam goes missing; family suspects suicide
The police found the boy’s slippers and cell phone near Meghadrigedda reservoir

Visakhapatnam: Upset over his SSS exam results, a student from the Vepagunta area is missing after he ran away from his home. The boy, Sai, had failed in two subjects and his parents were angry with him. Depressed over the results, he ran away from home.
His parents searched the surrounding areas and later, lodged a complaint with the Pendurthy police. The police found the boy's slippers and cell phone near Meghadrigedda reservoir. The family suspects that Sai may have died by suicide. However, it has not been confirmed. The Pendurthy police have started search operations to find the boy.
The SSC exam results were announced on Monday. Around 4,14,2814 students passed SSC of the 6,15,908 students who had appeared for the exam. This year, the pass percentage was very low at 67.26%.
