Visakhapatnam: A man brutally murdered his wife before killing himself in Vizag city on Thursday.
Police said a man hit his wife with a dumbbell on her head causing her death on the spot. Later, he ended his life at Gollalapalem of Sriharipuram under Malakapuram police station limits in Vizag city
Police said that the deceased have been identified as K Madhavi (30) and K Siva Nageswara Rao (32). Their marriage was held a few years ago.
Police suspect a family dispute might be the reason for the incident.
Locals said there was a heated argument between the couple on Wednesday night.
Police said that they are collecting information and examining the mobile phones to ascertain the exact reasons for the death of the couple.
A case has been registered and the bodies were shifted for post-mortem.
