Vizianagaram: Police have arrested four people for killing 42-year-old A Chandrasekhar Rao in Vizianagaram. They have been identified as Chandrasekhar Rao's wife A Aruna Jyothi (32) and her paramour K Rambabu (25) and her mother S Satyavathi (55) and Y Y Satish (23).

Rao's body was found near the railway track at Nellimarla in Vizianagaram. During the investigation, it turned out to be a pre-planned murder committed by his family. On April 24, A Chandrasekhar Rao, working as a clerk at a hospital, was found dead under suspicious circumstances near a railway track at Nellimarla.

Vizianagaram Rural police led by Inspector T Satya Mangaveni visited the crime scene and investigated the matter. The investigation revealed that Rao along with his family stayed in a rented house owned by Kilani Suri. After a few months, Aruna Jyothi developed an extra-marital affair with Suri's son Rambabu. Chandrasekhar Rao came to know about the affair. As a result, there was a strain in the couple's relationship.

Aruna Jyothi and Rambabu decided to eliminate Chandrasekhar Rao. They hired supari killer Satish and paid him Rs 40,000. Aruna Jyothi's mother Satyavathi also shelled out Rs 20,000 for the crime. Rambabu and Satish first hit Chandrasekhar Rao and then stabbed him. They later dumped the body near the railway track to masquerade it as an accidental death.

The arrested persons would be produced in the court on Monday.
