Hyderabad: Karkhana Police have registered a case against VLCC management and staff for a botched-up laser procedure of a young girl.
Munir T. Khambati, 56, a businessman from Secunderabad filed a complaint with police against the staff and management of VLCC. He alleged that during the hair removal procedure of his daughter Fatema Munir Khambati, the technician inflicted a deep cut on her face, leading to substantial bleeding.
According to the complaint, on November 5, Khambati paid Rs. 9,342 for a complete treatment package at VLCC Secunderabad. During the procedure, the technician allegedly performed the service in a careless and unskilled manner. While shaving Fatema's facial hair, the technician inflicted a deep cut on her face, leading to substantial bleeding.
Despite the injury, the technician failed to stop the procedure, clean the wound, or provide basic first aid. This lack of action is criminal negligence and a blatant disregard for his daughter's safety, the complainant said.
The complainant implicated senior staff members of VLCC, including CEO Vikas Gupta, Regional Head Raza, Cluster Head Shubha Manne, Manager Charitra, and Bindu, for their alleged involvement in negligence, abuse, and exploitation.
Karkhana Police registered a case under sections 79 and 125 of the BNS Act. An investigation is currently underway.
