Hyderabad: A 28-year-old youth from Warangal lost his life in a tragic incident at Secunderabad Railway Station while attempting to board a moving train.

The victim, Urakonda Sai, was on his way to Goa for his honeymoon with his wife, relatives, and friends when the mishap occurred. His family and friends have blamed the Railway Police for the circumstances leading to his death.

According to eyewitness accounts, Sai and his group had arrived at the station to board the Vasco-da-Gama Express. As the train's departure was delayed, Sai got down from the coach to buy a water bottle. However, before he could return, the train began to move.

In a desperate attempt to help him reboard, Sai's friends pulled the emergency chain to stop the train. Railway Police immediately responded by detaining two members of the group who had pulled the chain, asking them to get down and pay a fine. Despite the group pleading with the police and assuring them they would pay the penalty, the delay continued.

With his wife and brother-in-law still on the train and it beginning to move again, Sai ran to catch it. In the process, he slipped and got trapped between the moving train and the platform. He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a private hospital, where he died during treatment.

Sai, who had been married just three months ago, was looking forward to his honeymoon. His death has shocked his family and friends, who are now demanding a full investigation. They allege that the actions of the Railway Police directly contributed to the tragedy and are calling for accountability and justice.

Authorities have not yet issued an official statement, but calls are growing louder for a transparent inquiry into the incident.
