Chittoor shocker: Woman beheads husband; carries severed head to police station

Chittoor: A 53-year-old man was allegedly beheaded by his 50-year-old wife at Renigunta Town in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.

The reasons behind the brutal murder are being investigated, according to Renigunta urban police.

The couple – Ravichandran and Vasundhara, have a 20-year-old son, who is reportedly mentally challenged, the police said.

After stabbing her husband with a kitchen knife, the woman severed his head. She later walked into a Renigunta urban police station with a head and surrendered, police added.
