Hyderabad: An executive engineer at the Sri Laxmi Narsimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District was caught by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for demanding and accepting the bribe of Rs 1.9 lakh.
The accused, identified as Voodepu Venkata Rama Rao, who also holds an additional charge as the superintending engineer, Endowments Department, Telangana, was arrested by the ACB sleuths for demanding and accepting a bribe from the complainant to process the bill amount of Rs 11,50,445, about the installation of food machines at the temple.
