Cyberabad cops nab Karnataka man who robbed Blue Dart warehouse
By Newsmeter Network Published on 18 Aug 2020 3:23 PM GMTHyderabad: The Cyberabad police, on 18 August, arrested one man from Karnataka who had robbed a Blue Dart warehouse on 3 August along with five others. They also recovered stolen goods worth Rs. 15 lakh.
Vishnu alias Vishnu Munnu Rathod and his gang had stolen 68 boxes of laptops and other electronic gadgets from a Blue Dart warehouse in Gowlidoddi, Gachibowli, on the night of 3 August.
Acting on a tip-off, the Gachibowli police apprehended Vishnu and recovered 17 Dell laptops, five Lenovo Think Pad laptops, and one D-Link device from his possession. Four others accused in the case are absconding.
Four of the gang members, including Vishnu, had come to Hyderabad from Karnataka in Vishnu's car and had met another accused here. They recced the area during the night and on the intervening night of 2 and 3 August broke into the warehouse and stole the equipment.
Vishnu will be produced before the court at Kukatpally, Cyberabad.
