Report card: Asaduddin Owaisi, Ranjith Reddy asked most questions in Lok Sabha
While Ranjith asked 385 questions, Owaisi asked 366 questions.

While Ranjith asked 385 questions, Owaisi asked 366 questions.
According to the data analyzed by PRS Legislative Research between June 1, 2019- and February 10, 2024, of the 17 MPs in Telangana, these two leaders have asked several starred, unstarred, and short-notice questions in the House.
Among the total MPs, three are from the Congress including Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, nine are from the BRS, four are from BJP, and one is from AIMIM.
Number of Debates took part in:
Asaduddin Owaisi from AIMIM was the only leader who took part in the most debates, totaling 60. In the 2024 sessions, he was part of the debate on constructing the historic Ram Temple and Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ramlal, on a White paper on the Indian Economy and a Motion of Thanks on the President's Address.
Nama Nageswara Rao from BRS ranks second. He took part in 51 debates in the House.
In the House, members participate in debates directly by initiating a debate or associating with other members' debates.
Attendance
Based on information from the websites of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the highest attendance of 88% is for Nama Nageswara Rao and Nizamabad Lok Sabha MP Arvind Dharmapuri, followed by 85% for Congress MP and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, and 84% for Adilabad BJP MP Soyam Bapu Rao.
Any member is considered present if he signs the attendance register, but if he does not sign the attendance register, he is considered absent.
Data shows Minister Kishan Reddy has yet to attend the House
The attendance register is used to provide a daily allowance to MPs. It is not signed by ministers, opposition leaders, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, or the Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha.
Private Member's Bills (PMB)
Two leaders, Asaduddin Owaisi and Ranjith Reddy are the only two leaders who proposed PMBS.
The MP's bills proposed in 2022 and 2023 are still pending in the House.
