Deadline for CTET online applications extended till March 9

Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on 2 March, extended the last date for submission of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 online applications from 2 March to 9 March. The board has decided to extend the last date due to some administrative reasons.

Online applications can be submitted till 11:59 p.m on 9 March and the fee can be paid till 13 March 3:30 p.m. The board will conduct the 14th edition of CTET on 5 July in 112 cities all over the country.

The final verification of fee payment can be done up to 16 March 3:30 p.m. Online corrections, if any, in the particulars uploaded by the candidate can be done from 17 to 24 March on the CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. CBSE has instructed that no correction will be allowed under any circumstances after this date.

Further, in case the confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fee, the candidates are advised to approach the deputy secretary (CTET), CBSE, between 10 a.m to 5 p.m from 17 to 24 March along with the proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of e-challan, if payment was made through e-challan, for necessary action.

The board said that information bulletin containing details of examination, languages, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities, and important dates are available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates are advised to apply online accordingly.
