Decomposed body of 3MO girl fished out from nala at Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Shock and anger have gripped Hyderabad after a partially decomposed body of a three-month-old baby girl was fished out from a nallah at Chandrayangutta on Sunday.It is suspected that the child was thrown into the nala a few days ago.

According to police, residents of Gulshan Iqbal Colony noticed the body floating in the nala and informed the patrolling teams.

Cops immediately rushed to the spot and fished out the body. Later the partially decomposed body was shifted to a mortuary for postmortem.

Police said the child could be three-months-old. It is suspected that the child could have been born out of wedlock and delivered at home. Police are trying to figure out the pregnant women who have recently given birth in the area. Chandrayanagutta police have registered a case and started a probe.
