Deepika and Ranveer give Bollywood celebrities Diwali bashes a skip. Here’s why

But one of the most popular and adorable couple from Bollywood did not attend any of the bashes? Well, that couple is none other than Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

A source close to the couple informed a leading news portal that Deepika and Ranveer were with their families celebrating Diwali. Both sets of parents - the Bhavnanis and the Padukone’s, and the couple’s siblings were in Mumbai to ring in the festival of lights. It was a quiet few days at home for the couple. They spent quality time with each other and so decided to give all the Diwali dos a miss.

Besides, the couple is busy making plans for their first wedding anniversary, which is on November 14. The couple tied the knot after five years of dating and are famous for being the most loved and adored couple not just in the Hindi film industry, but everywhere also.

The last time they were seen working together was for the film ‘Padmaavat.’ Now, the couple has worked for ’83, a biopic on Kapil Dev. In this film, Deepika has played Romi Dev, the wife of Kapil Dev. This film is being directed by Kabir Khan, and the shoot is completed. In the first look of the film, Ranveer Singh looks fantastic as Kapil. Soon, release details of the film will be unveiled.
