Deloitte employee rams into a divider, gets booked for lockdown violation

Hyderabad : City police have registered a case against a Deloitte employee, for violating lockdown orders. It was found that, the man Rounak was over speeding, resulting in a car accident on the Tank bund road. The incident occurred on Monday night.

Twenty six year -year-old Rounak Agarwal sustained minor injuries, while the car toppled after hitting the divider. From the tiers to the boonet, the car was found damaged near the check post . Saifabad police of Hyderabad have registered a case against Rounak under charges of over-speeding, violation of lockdown orders and other charges as per the Indian Penal Code.

According to police, Rounak, a resident of Himayath nagar, on Monday night, stepped out of his home in his Volkswagen car. When he was moving on the tank bund at a high speed, he lost control on the wheel and rammed into a divider. The car then jumped to the other side of the road and toppled . Rounak sustained minor injuries, as the airbags in the vehicle were opened in the accident. Further, a major mishap was averted following the lockdown, the cops said.

It was reported that Rounak was driving under the influence of alcohol and empty alcohol bottles were also found in the car, police said that the employee was not drunk at the time of the incident and was even tested negative for drunk driving . He was shifted to a nearby hospital and is said to be recovering.
