• Anu Emmanuel admits to her mistakes, resulting in back-to-back flops

Anu Emmanuel made her Telugu debut in Majnu, pairing up with Nani. After her triumphant entry into Tollywood, she had later worked for films such as Oxygen, Agnyathavasi, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Shailaja Reddy Alludu and others.

However, unfortunately, many of her Telugu outings turned out to be unsuccessful at the box office and cost the producers a lot. The actress was referred to as an “iron leg” as well. While it has been some time since she has signed up for any Telugu films, she has been doing well in her Tamil movies.

The actress made her Tamil debut with Vishal-starrer Thupparivalan, which released in Telugu as Detective. The film became a big hit, and its sequel is reportedly on floors now. She was recently seen in Namma Veetu Pillai, pairing up with Sivakarthikeyan. The movie is a blockbuster hit, and the actress has been receiving praises for her performance in the film. The actress is elated with the positive feedback she has received from the audiences. The film’s success is also bringing with it many new offers for Anu.

In the latest interview she gave to a television channel, the actress mentioned that she made mistakes in choosing scripts and that’s what led to her featuring in many flops. “I never knew how to pick the right scripts. Therefore, I went with the flow and chose everything that came my way. However, I hardly saw any success in my career. I believe I have made mistakes in selecting films. After featuring in back-to-back films from which I haven’t benefited, I finally learnt the knack of knowing what to do and what not do.”

The actress now hopes that she will get good offers from the Telugu film industry, as, currently, she has no Telugu project in her kitty.
