He appealed to corporate firms to support “Yatradanam” under their CSR commitments and urged citizens to sponsor trips for the needy on festive and special occasions. He also encouraged RTC employees to actively contribute to the success of the scheme.
A “Gift of Humanity”
TGSRTC MD V.C. Sajjanar said the programme goes beyond social service, calling it a “gift of humanity” that preserves cultural values and creates lasting memories. He urged NGOs, donors, and associations to come forward to support the cause.
Minister, MD donate Rs 1 Lakh each
To mark the launch, both the Minister and the TSRTC MD contributed Rs 1 lakh each towards the “Yatradanam” fund.
The Minister’s contribution will be used for temple and recreational tours for orphans and poor students.
