For the first time a Joint Field Training Exercise, named Dustlik-2019 is being undertaken by India & Uzbekistan, from 04 -19 Nov, in Uzbekistan. Displaying India’s increasing strategic reach an IAF C-130 aircraft airlifted Indian Army troops from Jamnagar to Tashkent for the Dustlik-2019 event today. The Curtain Raise for the event was held today in Tashkent and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended it.
Had fruitful deliberations with Uzbekistan’s Defence Minister, Major Gen Nizamovich in Tashkent. India-Uzbekistan share deep bonds of friendship and cooperation as Strategic Partners.
