Hyderabad: The second term holidays for the Junior colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering Intermediate courses in Telangana will begin from January 13 to January 15, 2020.

Telangana State Board of Intermediate (TSBIE) has instructed all the principals of Junior colleges and Composite degree colleges to not to conduct any classes for the students during this period. The colleges will re-open on January 16, 2020.

In view of the second term holidays, the board has asked the principals to strictly adhere to the holiday schedule. The board has also instructed the principals and the management of private unaided Junior colleges in the state to not conduct any classes during the holidays.

Violation of board instructions will be viewed seriously and action will be initiated by the board against the erring managements and principals including disaffiliation. The board has given these instructions to the colleges as the board every year get several complaints from the students and the parents for running the classes during holidays despite strict instructions by the board.
