Ambedkar Open University rolls back fee hike on TS governor's request

BR Ambedkar Open University has rolled back the fee hike after the intervention of Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan.

Students of second year M.Sc. (Psychology) had written to Chancellor and Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan seeking rollback of fee hike.

The university recently doubled the fee from Rs.7500 to Rs.15000.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan took up the issue with Vice-Chancellor.

Later, she thanked the Vice-Chancellor and the university administration for graciously accepting her request.

She urged students to pay only the regular fee. Students, who have already paid the tuition fees can request a refund from the university.
