Andhra Pradesh: SSC exams from June 7

Minister for Education Adimulapu Suresh, on Wednesday, released the timetable for the Class X SSC exams which will be held from 7 June to 16 June. The exam dates are common for regular, private, OSSC, and vocational candidates and will be taking place in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm.

Andhra Pradesh: SSC exams from June 7

Amaravati: Minister for Education Adimulapu Suresh, on Wednesday, released the timetable for the Class X SSC exams which will be held from 7 June to 16 June. The exam dates are common for regular, private, OSSC, and vocational candidates and will be taking place in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm.

Speaking to the media, the minister said that the exams will be held for seven papers, of which three are languages, two are group subjects and two are science papers, where all the examinations except science papers will be held for 100 marks each. Considering the shortened academic year due to COVID-19 pandemic, the syllabus was reduced by 35 per cent and the examinations will also be held according to the updated syllabus, said the minister, adding that the last school day for Class X will be 5 June.

Similarly, the annual examinations for students studying Classes 1 to 9 will be held between 3 May to 10 May, with a last working day on 15 May. The summer vacation for the school students will start from 16 May to 30 June, while the academic year 2021 begins on 1 July.

The minister announced that the intermediate students of the previous academic year both first and second-year students who were just awarded pass marks due to the COVID situation can now appear for examinations for improvisation. The students can either appear for all the subjects or only selected subjects. Further, he said that the examination fee for intermediate students shall remain the same as last year, without any hike.

8 June- Second Language

9 June - English

10 June - Mathematics

11 June - Physical Science

12 June - Biology

14 June - Social Studies
