Application deadline for TS welfare residential schools extended to 14 April

By Newsmeter Network Published on 9 April 2022 9:23 AM GMTHyderabad: The last date for submission of online applications for admission to class V in Social, Tribal, BC, and General Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Societies for the academic year 2022-2023 has been extended to 14 April. Earlier, the last date for submitting the applications was 7 April.
Candidates who are currently studying in class IV in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to apply for Telangana Gurukul VTG CET-2022.
The candidates are instructed to submit online applications by making a payment of Rs. 100 towards the application fee. Candidates can also use the toll-free number for admission-related queries. The toll-free number is 1800-425-45678. The entrance exam will be conducted on 8 May from 11 a.m to 1 p.m in designated centres across Telangana.
There are a total of 48,280 seats in schools across the state. Telangana Social Welfare Residential Institutions Society (TSWREIS) has a total of 232 institutions across the state and has 18,560 seats, while Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions Society (TTWREIS) has 77 institutions and 6,080 seats. The Telangana Residential Educational Institution Societies (TREIS) has 35 institutions and 2,840 seats.
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS) has 261 institutions across the state and 20,800 seats. On the other hand, the Telangana Minorities Residential Education Institutions Society (TMREIS) has decided to conduct the entrance test for fresh admission of students in class V in all the schools and against backlog vacancies in Minority categories in classes VI, VII, and VIII. Admission into first-year intermediate in all TMR junior colleges for the academic year 2022-23 will also be initiated.
Exam results of class V-VIII will be announced on 23 May and intermediate results on 6 June.
