CBSE Class XII results: 92.71%. students qualify; girls outperform boys by 3.29%

The exam was conducted from 26 April to 15 June. This year, the overall pass percentage is 92.71%. Out of the 14,35,366 students, 13,30,662 passed the exam.

Girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 94.54% whereas boys secured 91.25%.
Spectacular performance by trans students
Trans students improved their performance with a pass percentage of 100%. In 2019, their pass percentage was 83.33% and in 2020, it was 86.19%.
Trivandrum region stood first in the country with a pass percentage of 98.83% followed by Bengaluru (98.16%), and Chennai (97.79%).
Among the different CBSE institutions, JNV secured the highest pass percentage of 98.93%, followed by the Central Tibetan School Association (CTSA) at 97.96%, and KV at 97.04%.
The government-aided CBSE schools secured 94.81%, and independent CBSE schools secured 92.20%.
93.98% of students in foreign CBSE schools passed the examination.
