CUET 2022: UG admission test forms to be issued in April first week
UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said the admissions to UG courses will be based on the CUET score. Class 12 marks will not have any weightage.

Hyderabad: University Grants Commission (UGC) has said a common university entrance test (CUET) will be held for admission to different undergraduate courses in the colleges affiliated with central universities.
The application forms for the test will be issued from the first week of April. CUET has been mandatory for admissions to all colleges affiliated with Central Universities in the country.
UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said the admissions to UG courses will be based on the CUET score. Class 12 marks will not have any weightage. The universities, if required can only set the board exam marks as an eligibility criterion for the test.
CUET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 13 languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, and English.
UGC in the notification also informed that the details of the CUET 2022 for PG programmes will be notified shortly.
