Hyderabad: Awaaz Alliance sweeps central panel in EFLU Students’ Union election
Hyderabad: The Fraternity Movement–led Awaaz Alliance won the student elections at English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Tarnaka. The alliance won all central panel posts in the EFLU Students’ Union Election, defeating the ABVP and SFI.
The Awaaz Alliance, comprising Fraternity Movement, Muslim Students Federation (MSF) and NSUI, secured a clean sweep, reflecting the strong mandate of the student community against divisive and sectarian politics.
The newly elected Central Panel members are:
President: Harshad Shibin NK (Fraternity Movement)
Vice President: Sonu Raj (NSUI)
General Secretary: Irfan Shajudheen (MSF)
Joint Secretary: Haleemathu SS Adiya (MSF)
Cultural Secretary: Ayisha Neha (Fraternity Movement)
Sports Secretary: Udita Purkait (NSUI)
This historic victory demonstrates the growing unity of democratic student forces committed to safeguarding campus diversity, social justice, and students’ rights. The mandate clearly rejects the politics of hatred and polarisation and affirms the students’ aspiration for an inclusive, egalitarian, and vibrant campus culture, a public statement from the election body said.
