NIRF rankings: IIT Hyd stands at 14 in overall ranks, UoH ranked 10th among best institutions

NIRF rankings: IIT Hyd stands at 14 in overall ranks, UoH ranked 10th among best institutions.

Hyderabad: IIT Hyderabad overall NIRF Ranking stands at 14 for the 8th consecutive year keeping it status as the top second-generation IIT, while University of Hyderabad (UoH) is ranked 10th among India's best educational institutions for the year 2023.

On Monday, the eighth edition of National Institutional Rankings was released by the Ministry of Education of India's National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).

IIT-Hyderabad stands at

Rank 3 in NIRF in Innovation category

Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements) category.

Rank 8 in Engineering category

Rank 14 in Research category.

Overall Rank 14.

Expressing his happiness, Director of IIT Hyderabad Prof. B. S. Dean of innovation, translation, and startups at IITH Prof S. Surya Kumar, said,"For us at IITH, innovation is not simply a specialized activity, but about developing an ecosystem that supports the young entrepreneurs from concept to market. This includes support for IP & technology transfer, academic programs, student cells, and incubation,"

The University was ranked 20th overall and 10th among universities in the NIRF, a poll sponsored by the Indian government. For the rankings, more than 200 universities were polled. On the basis of more than 8000 applications from institutions, the rankings for 2023 were created. India's universities and institutes are ranked annually by the MoE using a set of criteria.

University of Hyd is at 10th position

According to the NIRF, University of Hyderabad (UoH) is ranked 10th among India's best educational institutions for the year 2023.

The UoH was ranked 20th overall and 10th among universities in the NIRF, a poll sponsored by the Indian government.

For the rankings, more than 200 universities were polled. On the basis of more than 8000 applications from institutions, the rankings for 2023 were created. India's universities and institutes are ranked annually by the MoE using a set of criteria.

The NIRF approach is based on the overall conclusions and comprehensive knowledge reached by the MoE's Core Committee.
