Osmania University offers one-time exam chance for 2000-2015 UG batches

Hyderabad: Osmania University has issued a special notification offering a one-time chance examination for students of BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, and BSW under the Year-Wise Scheme (YWS) who were admitted between 2000 and 2015 and have pending backlog papers beyond the permissible academic period.

This initiative would enable eligible candidates to clear their backlog papers by appearing in the upcoming examinations tentatively scheduled for July 2025, upon payment of the prescribed penal fee in addition to the regular examination fee.

The university has clarified that the exams will be conducted as per the last available year-wise syllabus applicable during the student’s original period of admission.

The details for the fee payment and application deadlines for students are:

- Without Late Fee: Up to June 19

- With Late Fee of Rs 500: From June 20 to 24

Final Submission by Colleges: June 25 (Online submission closes at 5 pm)

The Controller of Examinations has emphasised that no applications or payments will be accepted beyond the due dates, and exam fees once paid are non-refundable.
