OU faculty member Prof GB Reddy appointed vice chancellor of NUALS in Kerala

Hyderabad: Osmania University announced the appointment of Prof GB Reddy as the vice chancellor of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, in Kerala. Prof GB Reddy was a senior faculty member at the University College of Law here.

In recognition of this exceptional achievement, Prof Kumar Molugaram, vice chancellor of Osmania University, felicitated Prof Reddy in a special ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Molugaram lauded Prof Reddy’s outstanding contributions to legal education, research and institutional development at Osmania University. He described Prof Reddy’s elevation as a moment of great pride for the university community and a reflection of Osmania’s academic excellence.

Prof Reddy’s distinguished career spans several key leadership roles.

He has served as the director of the Prof G Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education (PGRRCDE) and as the IPR chair professor under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. His scholarship and service have left a lasting impact on legal education and policy discourse.

Prof Molugaram expressed confidence that under Prof Reddy’s visionary leadership, NUALS will scale new academic heights and strengthen its position as a leading national law university.
