OU to continue online classes till 12 Feb

"In a meeting with the principals of the university and constituent colleges, along with other administrative officials of the university, it was unanimously resolved to continue to take classes in the online mode until 12 February 2022 for all current semesters of UG and PG courses keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic," read a statement from the university.
The teaching staff, including those engaged on a contractual and part-time basis, have to attend college duties from 31 January and take online classes from the college from 1 February. All the staff members have been instructed to follow COVID-appropriate behavior and take necessary precautions to curb the spread of the virus.
Amid Omicron concerns, the state government on 3 January had decided to close all educational institutions from 8 to 16 January. Later, considering the increasing number of cases, the holidays were extended till 31 January.
On 29 January, the government had announced its decision to reopen all educational institutions in the state from 1 February.
