Pariksha Pe Charcha to be telecast on TV and digital media on 7 April at 7 pm

Hyderabad: The 4th edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021' (PPC), an interactive programme initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for students, teachers, and parents will be held for the first time in the virtual mode while adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. The programme will be aired at 7 pm on 7 April on TV channels and digital media in Hindi and other major Indian languages. The event is being organised for the fourth consecutive year by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.

The main event can be seen on TV channels and digital media including Twitter accounts such as @EduMinofIndia, @narendramodi, @PMOindia, @PIB_India and @MyGovIndia. The programme will also be telecast on the Facebook accounts and YouTube channels of Doordarshan, DD News, Rajya Sabha TV, Swayam Prabha from 7 pm onwards. #ExamWarriors and #PPC2021 are already trending on various social media platforms.

As part of the programme, an online creative writing competition was conducted on various topics from 17 February to 14 March for children in classes of 9 to 12, teachers, and parents.

Around 14 lakh participants registered for the creative writing contest out of which 10.5 lakh were students, 2.6 lakh were teachers and 92,000 were parents. More than 60 percent of the students who participated were from classes 9 and 10. For the first time, students from 81 foreign countries also participated in this pre-PPC creative writing contest.

The objective of the programme is to join hands in celebrating examinations. 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021' is said to provide words of encouragement and wisdom from the prime minister to students, parents, and teachers across the country.
