Hyderabad: The results of the SSC Public Examinations are expected to be declared in the last week of April or the first week of May, according to the Directorate of Government Examinations.
SSC Public Examinations concluded on Wednesday.
The spot evaluation of answer scripts will be conducted at 19 evaluation camps across the State from April 7 to April 15. Following this, the results will be processed, which will take approximately 15 to 20 days.
Shift from Grades to Marks System
This year, the State government has scrapped the grading system, and students will be awarded marks instead of grades. However, the existing system of allocating 80 marks for external exams and 20 marks for internal assessments will continue for this academic year.
Previously, students were graded under categories such as A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2, and E, with A1 being the highest and E the lowest. The new marking system replaces this approach, ending a decade-long practice of grading.
Exam Conducted Smoothly, No Malpractice Cases Reported
A total of 4,97,712 students registered for the social studies examination, out of which 4,96,470 students appeared for the test. Officials confirmed that no malpractice cases were reported during the exam, which was conducted smoothly across the State.
The Directorate of Government Examinations has advised students to regularly check official portals for updates regarding the result declaration.
