SSC Results: Parvathipuram Manyam dist leads with 96.37% students qualifying; girls outshine boys
A total of 6,16,615 candidates have appeared for the SSC public examination in the regular stream
By Newsmeter Network Published on 22 April 2024 9:33 AM GMTAmaravati: Parvathipuram Manyam district in Andhra Pradesh secured the highest pass percentage of 96.37 in the SSC exam whose results were announced on Monday by commissioner of School Education, Suresh Kumar.
A total of 6,16,615 candidates have appeared for the SSC public examination in the regular stream.
The pass percentage of girls is higher
The state-wide pass percentage of regular candidates is 86.69 per cent. Girls outshined with 89.17 per cent, while boys' pass percentage is 84.32 per cent. The overall pass percentage of girls is 4.85 per cent higher than that of boys.
A total of 2,803 schools have secured a 100 per cent pass percentage. While Parvathipuram Manyam secured the highest, the lowest percentage of 62.47 was recorded from the Kurnool district.
The AP residential schools and AP BC welfare schools secured the highest pass percentage of 98.43 per cent. The SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations for 2024 are scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to June 3.
The memorandum of subject-wise performance will be hosted on the official website of the Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh within four days after the publication of results to facilitate candidatesā admission into first-year intermediate courses without any difficulty.
Reverification process
The candidates can apply for re-counting and re-verification of answer scripts in an online application from April 23 at 10 am to May 30 at 11 pm. The candidates who wish to apply for recounting and re-verification of answer scripts shall immediately request the concerned school HM to apply for the same and shall submit the fee to the concerned school HM only.
