The Method Behind the Recognition
Stanford University's recognition of these scientists is based on a comprehensive analysis of their contributions to the field.
Separate data are provided for both career-long and single recent year impact, considering self-citations and the ratio of citations to citing papers.
Scientists are classified into various scientific fields and sub-fields, and field-specific percentiles are also provided for all scientists with at least five papers.
This recognition is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score, with or without self-citations, or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field. The data are updated to the end of 2022 for career-long impact and reflect citations received during the calendar year 2022 for the single recent year impact.
Hyderabad's Pride
LV Prasad Eye Institute's consistently strong presence in the global research landscape not only elevates the reputation of the institution but also brings pride to the city of Hyderabad. This recognition underscores the city's commitment to advancing eye care and research on a global scale.
