TGPSC releases Group-II provisional selection list

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has released the provisional selection list for Group-II Services recruitment, bringing the process closer to completion for hundreds of aspirants.
Exam and ranking process
The Group-II Services examination was conducted on December 15 and 16, 2024, in both forenoon and afternoon sessions.
Following the announcement of the General Ranking List (GRL) on March 11, the commission verified certificates of qualified candidates before finalising the provisional list.
Vacancies and selection status
Against the 783 notified vacancies (Notification No. 28/2022, dated December 29, 2022), the commission has published the hall ticket numbers of 782 provisionally selected candidates across 18 post codes. One vacancy has been withheld.
Results are subject to court cases
The commission stated that the results are subject to the outcome of ongoing litigations, including Writ Petition Nos. 35015/2024, 36518/2024, 35418/2024, 18544/2025, 15546/2025, 22332/2025, and Writ Appeal No. 821/2025, along with other petitions pending before the courts.
Warnings about submitting false information
TGPSC cautioned that if it is later found that a candidate has submitted false information or violated rules, their provisional selection will be cancelled at any stage.
Such candidates will lose all consequential benefits and may face further action as per the TGPSC Rules of Procedure (Telangana Gazette No. 60, dated December 28, 2015).
