Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Monday instructed all institutions in the state offering two-year intermediate courses to extend the last date of admissions to 30 November.

"As per the requests of the junior colleges and certain unions, the last date for admission into the first-year intermediate course and student online services for the academic year 2021-22 is extended up to 30-11-2021 as a final chance," read the TSBIE order.

The order also notified that there will be no further extension of the last date.

TSBIE also reduced 30% of the syllabus for the intermediate examinations for the academic year 2021-22 due to the disruption of physical classes due to COVID-19. The details of the 70% that will be included and the 30% that will be excluded for the exam will be displayed separately on the official website of TSBIE along with the model question papers of intermediate public examinations for the academic year 2021-22, informed TSBIE.
