UGC-NET 2022: Registrations now open, last date to apply 20 May

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC-NET 2022: Registrations now open, last date to apply 20 May

Hyderabad: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced that the online applications for the UGC-NET exam for the merged cycle December 2021 and June 2022 opened on 30 April. Interested candidates can submit their applications by 8 p.m on 20 May.

The last date for submission of the examination fee is 20 May 2022 (up to 11:50 p.m).

Corrections in the online application forms can be done from 21 to 23 May.

Dates for downloading admit cards, intimation of cities of exam centres, and date of the examinations are yet to be announced.

The first shift of the examination will be from 9 a.m to 12 p.m and the second shift from 3 p.m to 6 p.m.

The slots for JRF (both UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles) have been merged while the methodology for subject-wise-cum-category-wise allocation of JRF remains unchanged.
