Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has started the application process for admission for the academic year 2021-22. Around 2,328 seats are being offered for admissions to 117 courses. The last date for submitting the applications is 20 July.
The entrance exams will be held online/offline at 39 centres across the country during August/ September. However, the university will not conduct entrance exam at those centres where the number of applications received is less than 300.
UoH is offering 2,328 seats for 117 courses, including 17 integrated courses, 46 PG courses, 10 M.Tech and 44 Ph.D programmes. The new courses being offered this year are M.Tech (modeling and simulation), M.P.A. (music) and a certificate course in publishing.
The admission to MCA course will be based on NIMCET scores conducted by NIT Common Entrance Test. The admission to nine M.Tech courses will be through centralized counseling of M.Tech (CCMT) of GATE. The admission to five-year Integrated M.Tech (computer science) will be through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) of JEE. Besides, the admission to MBA is through CAT, M.Sc. Biotechnology through GAT-B conducted by RCB Faridabad, and M.Tech (modeling and simulation) through GATE scores.
