All these buildings were inaugurated virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.

Significance of the Project:

The University of Hyderabad is expecting a huge spurt in student and faculty in the coming years and accordingly plans to cater to the following requirements:

Ā· Augmenting the infrastructure.

Ā· Fulfil the studentā€™s needs/requirements for state-of-the-art facilities.

Ā· Enhance studentā€™s performance and placement prospects.

Ā· Give opportunities to excel in traditional fields like Dance, Music, and Fine arts.

Ā· Enhance the avenues for research.

Benefits to the Common Man:

This scheme is especially for the University of Hyderabad and it shall be conducive for all round development of students by creating state-of-the-art infrastructure for improving the quality of services. The admissions to various undergraduate & postgraduate programmes and Ph.D. programmes are made on an all-India basis entrance test CUET conducted by the NTA. Therefore, the project will benefit students across the country based on their performance in the competitive examination/selection process.

Current Status:

Given the shortfall in the infrastructure requirements both qualitatively and quantitatively, the inauguration ceremony will help in realizing the goals set by the University for the upliftment of standards of higher education both in the region and the country as a whole.
