UoH student bags Rs. 17.71 lakh placement offer; record 396 students placed
While many institutions and students are finding it tough to find placements during the pandemic, 396 UoH students have received placement offers from reputed firms.

While many institutions and students are finding it tough to find placements during the pandemic, 396 UoH students have received placement offers from reputed firms.
Just before the lockdown in March, more than 221 students were placed in 132 companies through campus placements. The final tally reads: 396 students placed in 213 companies for the year 2020-21. This is the highest number of placements in the university's history. Students were offered salaries ranging from Rs. 3.50 to Rs. 17.71 lakhs per annum.
Prof. Salman Abdul Moiz, professor-in-charge of the university's Placement Guidance Advisory Bureau (PGAB) said, "It's gratifying to note that against the heavy odds such as COVID-19 lockdowns, PGAB secured record placements for the 2020-21 batch university students. We are confident that the successfully placed students will continue to keep the flag of UoH flying high."
Students of the 2020-21 batch have found placements in many reputed organizations in the public and private sectors and in numerous fields. Some of the employers include TCS, GE, One Convergence, Deloitte, Dr. Reddy's, Bridge i2i, Blaize, Techsophy, Phenom People, ICICI Bank, Tech Mahindra, Elastic Run, Azentio Software Pvt. Ltd, UBS, Global Data, Jocata, Cargo Flash Ltd, Brane Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, Accenture, Mercedes-Benz, Pega System, Cognizant, Team F1, Thought Works, Manthan School, to name a few.
Since companies could not visit the university campus, they conducted video interviews and online assessments from May.
