By Newsmeter Network Published on 17 Nov 2021 1:36 PM GMTHyderabad: Venkata Sathyajith Kampati pursuing M.Tech in integrated circuit technology at Center for Advanced Studies in Electronic Science & Technology (CASEST), School of Physics, University of Hyderabad has been selected for a fully-funded four-year Ph.D. programme at the Advance integrated Sensing lab (ADVISE) group, Faculty of Engineering Technology, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium with research scholarship.
Sathyajith Kampati was awarded the prestigious UGC- NET & JRF in June 2020 in Electronic Science. He completed his internship at GlobalFoundries, Bangalore as an Analog/RF circuit design intern for his master's thesis project titled 'Design layout automation for optimization of Analog/RF benchmark circuits' under the supervision of Guruswamy Rajaram, Professor at the School of Physics, University of Hyderabad.
For his Ph.D., Sathyajith Kampati will be working on developing Advanced Radiation Tolerant CMOS Oscillators for high-energy physics experiments. Interestingly, the research group is a member of the CMS collaboration at CERN, Switzerland.
Sharing the secret of his success, Sathyajith Kampati said that the time he got during the pandemic gave him a golden opportunity to strengthen his fundamentals and deepen his understanding of the subject, which helped him in his internship and Ph.D. interviews.
