Hyderabad: ‘Major,’ starring Adivi Sesh in the titular role, hit the screens on 3 June 2022. The film was a massive hit at the box office and at the same time, it was quite an emotional ride for Adivi Sesh. It was also the actor’s biggest hit. As the film was released on a pan-India level, audiences across the country appreciated Sesh for making such a wonderful movie. Also, people who lost their loved ones in the terrorist attack met Sesh during the special screening and blessed him.

Adivi Sesh appeared in the role of 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the biopic ‘Major.’ The film, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, was released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam, and was a big commercial hit in all the languages.

‘Major’ completes its first anniversary and on the occasion, Sesh met Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents and had a wonderful time with them. The Major’s mother cooked some amazing food for Sesh, and together they remembered Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Sesh also thanked the makers of ‘Major,’ including superstar Mahesh Babu.

Sesh, in a statement, said, “Got my darshan with Amma & Uncle for the 1 year Anniversary of #Major. Amma cooked some amazing food despite her shoulder pain. Their love has meant everything to me. #MajorSandeepUnnikrishnan has blessed me and changed me in ways I never knew. #MajorTheFilm is my most memorable film and I want to thank Mahesh sir, our amazing producers, our phenomenal director, the hardworking team, our Actors who gave riveting performances but most of all…the audience. Adivi Sesh also shared pictures from his meeting with Major Unnikrishnan’s parents. It’s really good to see that the relationship continued well beyond the film.
